Vegan Views

Vegan Views shares the aims of the UK Vegan Society, but is independent from it. The magazine has always been produced by unpaid volunteers on a non-profit-making basis, with the emphasis being on debating issues amongst vegans and vegan sympathisers.

Vegan Views began in April 1975 as a duplicated A4 newsletter, with the early issues simply called 'Vegan Newsletter'. It was produced by a group of young vegans living in North London, led by Marijke McCartney, who wanted to make contact with others "interested in creating a more harmonious way of living based on veganism". They shared news and opinions, and were able to communicate more informally through the Newsletter than through the Vegan Society's journal. For many isolated vegans they were a real source of support.

Vilda Magazine

Vilda the world’s first 100% vegan online fashion and lifestyle magazine.

Presenting fashion, beauty and lifestyle in a vegan key, Vilda is a one-stop destination for fashionistas passionate about (or curious about!) stylish living with a cruelty-free twist.

In Vilda magazine, we believe that style and compassion can coexist peacefully and we’ve got the goods to prove it: the most on-trend fashion brands, the best cruelty-free cosmetics, most delicious recipes and most brilliant vegan personalities out there are all here. We’re bringing a chic revolution to the world of vegan style.

Forget the frumpy bags, the “comfortable” shoes and the tasteless granola: the Vilda girl conquers the world in her OlsenHaus heels and with a Jill Milan bag on her arm. She never leaves the house without her red e.l.f lipstick and her Butter London nail polish. She indulges in yummy salads, vegan sushi, soy lattes and the occasional cupcake. She travels to places like Berlin, Stockholm, New York and Cape Town. She’s as curious and contemporary as she is chic.

Join us on our journey: it’s going to be a wild ride.
