I have always had a real passion for food and enjoy preparing and cooking my own meals. Becoming a vegan, and following a plant-based diet, has had such a positive effect on my life that I wanted to share this aspect of my new lifestyle with others. The idea of spending my days in the kitchen doing what I love and being my own boss really appealed.
I produce tasty, homemade, vegan ready meals with what I believe to be the best foods available, without having to cause harm to animals or the planet. Using my delicious ready meals I am helping to promote the concept of veganism to members of the local community; be they vegan, vegetarian, flexitarian, or yet to discover the benefits, and many options, of a plant-based diet.
The Hedgerow Hound is a family run, vegan, street food vendor and caterer. We create an array of world foods inspired by the seasons ensuring we always have a fresh and enticing menu offer. Inspired by what we grow and forage in our surroundings here on Dartmoor, we create from scratch selling all vegan: pies, cannoli, vegan scotch eggs, beer buns, schnitzel, bhajis, loaded nachos, vegan kebabs and much more!
We've been serving it all at events since we began trading in August last year, and the feedback and energy we receive from everyone we meet has been so inspiring!

- Our Vintage Mobile Bar with 4 chilled lines and 2 ambient lines. This is for outdoor events or indoor spaces with more than 6ft wide access.
- Our Rustic Bar with 3 chilled lines and 1 ambient line - a portable bar for indoor and outdoor events. This bar has two fonts with 4 taps on each so our speed of service meets the demands of a busy event.
Our Portable Dispenser has two chilled lines and one ambient line - a small, hand held unit that can be positioned in the smallest of spaces.
Every drink we serve is 100% vegan.
We use biodegradable, compostable plastic free cups and re-sealable glass bottles to ensure we operate on a zero waste basis.
