Hank’s Deli & Cafe – Ipswich
0.0

Description:

We know there is a lot of choice out there for food! Restaurants, pop up vans and stalls, subscription services, supermarkets and online. We want to be different and we want to help change the world. We only produce VEGAN products and never make food with any animal products. Ever. We are in the process of opening the very first vegan deli & shop in town as well - called Hank's! Please check out the info on Hank's page.

We are based in Ipswich Town Center at 38 Lloyds Avenue. We make our food in a kitchen, in small batches, using the same things you would at home. Our food is then quickly frozen so it stays fresh and is ready to go when you want it. We have tried and tested our recipes and have made them microwavable or reheat-able in the oven (both wherever possible). Things like our mayonnaise and cheeses are freshly made every day and will come to you fresh when you order them. We don't use strange preservatives, and will clearly let you know on our online shop how long things should last for!

We want to reduce food miles. Your mayonnaise doesn't need to come from North America. It's basically just oil and water! We think you can get much better value and much better quality food if we spent less on packaging and less on shipping. Some things, it's not possible - our weather doesn't let us grow coconuts for example!

But, we do buy local ingredients where possible and every day we are looking at more ways we can involve local producers in our supply chain. The work is never finished, so if you would like to get involved - get in touch!

My name is Geoff and I work with Phil - we are always here to answer any questions you have, take a special request or help you in your vegan journey.
