Hello, I'm Jessica and I offer counselling and therapy online, from my home in Tyneside. I've been vegan since 2014, and I know how meaningful that is in my life. At times it can be important to find a therapist who shares your ethical standpoint.
I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor, and I'm registered with the British Association For Counselling And Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I trained at the Northern Guild in Newcastle upon Tyne.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore and attend to what's bothering you. Therapy can help you understand more about yourself and any difficulties you're experiencing. I believe this is the first step towards feeling better, and making any changes you want to make in your life.
You might be struggling with a specific event or experience, or maybe you have difficulties that you've been living with for a long time, and which never really seem to go away. Perhaps you're experiencing panic, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, low self-esteem, problems in relationships, or something else that's causing you problems. Many people find it useful to have a space to share all of this, to talk about it and work through it with someone who will listen and help you find a solution – and that’s what I’m here for.
Because everyone who comes to therapy is different, I work in an integrative way and I focus on you as an individual. My ultimate goal is to help you make sense of what you're going through and find a way to resolve it and move forward in your life. Whatever it is that's bringing you to therapy, I hope that I can help.
